About KT6 Vocal Group
We are an a cappella vocal group formed of passionate and fun-loving amateur singers who bring familiar favourites to life with just our voices. From contemporary pop-hits to folk-song, our harmonies create a sound that we hope is both inspiring and memorable.
Originally founded in 2016 we have been singing under the direction of our Musical Director Jake Alexander since 2021. Jake also creates all of our arrangements and offers a fresh take on familiar songs.
We love to sing together and to socialise with each other sharing our different passions, good food and silly jokes.
We love performing and regularly sing at festivals and events, largely in and around central and south-west London. We’ve also spent time in the studio recording our material.

Jake has been working with KT6 Vocal Group since 2021.
“I really value the work I do with KT6 Vocal Group. It’s very enjoyable to work with committed singers in a lovely, positive atmosphere.” As a composer and arranger he brings a wealth and breath of music for us to sing and the majority of our songs are his arrangements...even in our warm ups. Jake created a special arrangement of 'Blinding Lights’ by the Weekend for us as part of our 'Eurovision song contest 2024' social event, which KT6 Vocal Group then debuted in Autumn 2024 |

SharonCHAIR
Sharon joined at the inception of the choir in 2016, and then became Chairperson in 2020 leading our re-formation in 2021, post-pandemic.
“I aspire for KT6 Vocal Group to continue to grow and evolve for the benefit of every member and our wider community.” Sharon organises all aspects of rehearsals, membership and performances and has focused on building our network of contacts and developing collaborations with other musical groups. |
GillTREASURER
Gill is also a founding member of KT6 Vocal Group. As a data analyst in her professional life she was prrfectly suited to take over the Treasurer role in 2019.
Gill is a keen traveller and enjoys new experiences and social events and can be found regularly planning her next adventure. Gill is responsible for all financial aspects for the choir including liaison with all services and suppliers. |
RobAV & MEDIA
Rob also joined KT6 Vocal Group at the beginning and wins a prize for travelling the furthest to attend rehearsals, sometimes as much as 65 miles! Rob is a versatile singer and has been known to perform as soloist, soprano, alto and tenor in the same performance.
Rob is our creative-techie and works miracles recording our performances, creating videos, rehearsal tracks and any other resources that the group uses. |
